Title: 2005-2006 (Troop 4972)
Dear Girls Scouts,
I trust all your summers have been restful, fun and adventurous. Joanne and I are meeting soon to put a schedule together for the first half of the year. Just a few reminders before we actually get into the year. We have already discussed meeting as a Troop only on evening per month. This evening will be decided in the next two weeks so if a particular night is bad let us know via e-mail. We will not meet until 7PM probably at the Veteran's building and make it a dinner meeting with pizza, soda and dessert. It will end at 8:30PM. We will be planning some special overnights, day trips and events as well.
All of you should have done some things with your Silver Pals before we meet again in October. You have to do this on your own. You are required to give them 15 hours of companionship or service. Get in touch with your silver pal partner and your silver Pal. (The Fireman's Muster is this Saturday with fireworks in the evening maybe you could mention this to them or just come. I will be at the Millis Garden Club tent come by and say hi.) We are still planning to have a Tea at Kennedy Terrace with our Silver Pals as soon as I check in with them. All the Seniors living at Kennedy Terrace were so pleased all summer to have there special garden areas blooming. They are so thankful to all of you for caring so much to do this special project. They donated money to our account so none of you will have to pay any dues all year long.
